Had to go try to find this bird today. It is an American Avocet and according to the birders it is only the third reported sighting of they species in this county. The last time was 1979. These are cropped pretty hard as it was in a farmers pond far off the road.

Took the V2 and 55-300 out today,it can turn in some decent results if the subjects are close enough.

Even if your having your picture taken an itch needs scratching
