Excuse the long quote from Wikipedia but there's a reason........

"Martyn Ashton is a former British and World Champion mountain bike trials rider, stunt rider and team manager. He had been riding professional trials since 1993 and is often described as a mountain biking legend. He has been credited with turning trials from a not niche form of riding into the sport it is today. Ashton was paralysed in an accident in 2013, during a bike trials demo at the British Moto GP."

This was him at that very demo. Seconds later the day took a tragic turn.

The local school has a guy take photo's of the game.....he will post 500. Posting 500 pics the next day means he just downloads and posts. He gets some good shots and gets a lot of ones I would delete. My daughter is in the band so I'm generally working the concession stand but I was asked to go out and see what I could get. I got two I really liked.

This first one is a safety that basically put the game out of reach (made it a 9 point advantage with only a couple minutes left) (the ladies reaction on the left says it all) LOL

The second is the team celebrating....(they beat the #1 team in the state and a huge rival every year)
