Can barely see the plane in there, but I thought the little smoke rings looked kind of cool.

A couple of very old pics from April 1965... a DC3 - VH ANJ which lost power in its port engine upon takeoff from "Warrnambool airport" - Victoria Australia, the pilot feathered the engine and then discovered the starboard engine was not putting out enough power to stay airborne so he did a wheels up belly landing, 3 crew & 20 pax... no injuries...except to a couple of fences !!!
My dear old dad (sadly no longer with us) is the policeman you can see in the photo, he took me and my sister out to see the wreckage, and strangely, many, many years later I ended up working for Ansett Airlines...
