So true. They have been phased out by the "Growler" which has similar body of the FA-18.

But like the F-14 before it, the F/A-18/EA-18 (as good as they are) just don't seem to have as much 'awesome presence'

Took a few shots of this then thought what was it Lee said about prop blur,the same thing must apply with rotor blur,couldn't remember so i dropped the shutter speed to 100th it over exposed them but at least i got rotor blur.

Sad indeed! Both the F4 and the A6 were two of my favorite jets growing up, along with the big Buffs (B52) that were always overhead.
