This was a Ukranian owned aircraft leaving Scotland today, heading for Slovakia. Guessing it was moving supplies for them to be transported by train or truck into Ukraine.
I'm lucky enough to live about 45 minutes away from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, so am a regular visitor - was there about 8 or 9 times last year! I'm even luckier to have had the chance to get to know George Haye, the owner and pilot of Spitfire MkIX RW382, currently painted to represent "Porky II" flown by Robert Connor of the USAAF's 309th FS in WW2. I had a couple of days last year hanging out with them getting some up-close access to this wonderful aircraft, culminating in a "fly alongside" with her.
I did a couple of photo workshops last year with Darren Harbar, one of the most well-reknowned aviation photographers here in the UK. First was the Bomber County one with their Lancaster and Mosquito, the next was my first evening/night shoot at the Shuttleworth Collection
