All great shots Paul, but I have to tell you I am partial to the MGA. A buddy in High School offered me his for $600 US, (I cannot remember the year). But I could not talk my father into letting me get it. Still wish I had it, but now it would be a tad bit more than $600 and I am not sure I could get in it.
Love the old Beetle! It seems that hoods (bonnets?) are up at the car shows I go to, which is great for engine pictures, but rather spoils a nice photo of the vehicle.
Yes I know what you mean, it does spoil the lines of the car, Just looking at the engines and the detail, very clean just like the rest of the car.
