Nice shots, I love the BTTC races. Hard chargers those guys. :encouragement:

There's no inch given nor asked for that's for sure. :bull_head:

Car body parts were flying everywhere.

Those Renault Clio guys were hard at it too, bouncing off the curbs.

A great venue to hone your photography skills. Every day is a school day!

Thanks for sharing your shots. To my mind this is some of the best racing on the planet, hard knocks given & received. Those guys make F1 look tame by comparison. :applouse:

New addition to the family fleet for my kid-- a used 2013 Honda Fit Sport. Took me 6 weeks of sleepless over-analysis to decide what to buy. I dread the thought about maintaining and insuring three vehicles, but here it is on the way to its new home. Wife reported a steady 36-1/2 MPG at 75 MPH, so I'm happy about that. The 1.5L engine packs a punch with 117 HP. :D

Honda Fit is very nice car. Quite a versatile piece of kit. I looked at those before I landed in my GTI.

PS Make sure it is up to date on recalls especially the airbag one.

Thank you Chuck. This ought to be a good car for my young driver. It's a one owner car with a very good service history; I hope I chose well. We washed, clay barred and waxed it on Saturday and it looks great. The crankcase was overfilled with 3/4 QT of oil, which I pumped out before the 3 Hour trip home. I'm pretty sure the used car retailer did that; every other servicing prior has been at the Honda Dealer near there.

I've not had an opportunity to drive it other than test drives. :( I want to drive it to a scenic location with the Nikon and shoot some nice pictures of it.

Thanks too for the airbag reminder. I phoned my Honda Dealer today and they ordered the airbag replacement. Said lead time was about 30 Days.

see #992 (car hauler). I followed it to a not so secret test ground (now) in eastern wa. amazing how they hide the 2017 models._DSC2403.jpg_DSC2405.jpg_DSC2449.jpg_DSC2452.jpg_DSC2456.jpg_DSC2460.jpg_DSC2463.jpgDSC_1479.jpg
