This must be one of the funniest threads ever, both photos and comments. We've all been there and to share our frustrations with a laugh is simply wonderful.

Now wait a second here if you will. In this case, the lens or focus is not in cause. The cause of the picture's softness is a too low shutter speed. Whenever shooting wildlife, the shutter speed should rarely be below 1/500s. You could have risen the iso to around 1000, keeping the same aperture you would have gotten a shutter speed around 1/1000s and the shot would have been sharper. You can always get rid of some iso noise, but never of a blurred subject.
