Yes. I have tried matrix, but that jumps about even worse. That said, I have no great talent for smooth panning, so there is a good measure of operator error involved.

Not sure why you are considering this an 'almost' shot. A little soft and busy as is, but a good crop and some sharpening and its as good as many of my postings. Or is that just not a black cap?

Hard for me to tell, given the image adjusts needed for posting. This (if I may be so bold) would be better using the original to work from. I think it just isn't bad enough to sit in here with some of mine -- if that makes any sense -- but I sure understand the feeling (boy, do I).
