Good turtle reflections shots Pat. Too bad you chopped off a tad of the head in the reflection in the first shot.


Thanks Marilynne... yes, that was in the capture that way so I missed it when I shot, it was not cropped to that... (if it was I would have gone back to fix it when you mentioned..) :)

I get that also from the wobble. If I have multiple shots of something I really like I usually have all the parts needed, so I stick them in my pano program and make one good photo. I had someone today tell me he was impressed that I hand hold the tamzooka steady. I laughed.

I popped the Tamzooka on my D70 today to use as a scope for watching birds on our feeders, and it occurred to me that another advantage of the Tamzooka over a Nikon lens with a Nikon TC is that it will work on any Nikon mount camera, whereas the Nikon TCs will only work on a very few, selected camera bodies. Probably those of you who are quicker on the draw realized this from the start, but it is an advantage that many people might want to take into account.. :)

Haven't posted any shots in this thread i a little while. A shot from Back Bay in Biloxi, Ms. Taken on my Nikon D7000 using the Tamron 150-600mm lens at 600mm hand held.
