The light is terrible, cloudy gray and ready to rain, but I had to try the new lens. Hand-held (and I'm going to have to start lifting weights again)

Geez. Everyone is getting this lens! :)

The other day, a random lady walked up to me, pointed at the Tamzooka and asked, "how much does THAT cost?"
I think she was disappointed that it wasn't more.

Everyone is getting this lens!

It's interesting just how much I am using this lens, it is now my 'go-to' lens for convenient wildlife shooting ... no tripod & gimbal and heavy loads, just 'over my shoulder' with a beanbag or a monopod.
I've seen a number of images now from the heavier and more expensive Sigma 'S' equivalent and I cant see any image-quality reason to pay the extra!

I bought V2 for other stuff so i dont have to take it off the D7100 :D
