I'm still so excited about having my SLR that I just can't build up much interest in carrying a point and shoot.lolBut I can understand why a point and shoot might have it's appeal after seeing this thread.
They are real nice to have for travel, crowds, parties, quick snapshots. Whenever we have company with little kids, I'm always looking for a safe place to put down my D600, which is hard to find. The P&S eliminates a lot of these worries.
