Please Vote for Me!!

As long as people understand and play by the rules, it's a valid way. Here, the purpose is helping kids, the photos have already been judged and the final decision is left to the world. The more people that are aware, the more successful the program. I voted for all three months, will try and remember to vote for the other months, and when they start selling calendars, likely buy one. The method seems to be working to fulfill the purpose.

Hey, Rick. I voted for your pic because it was the best one. I wouldn't have done so otherwise. Great composition, I really liked the shot a lot.

I forgot to mention that I preferred Rick's photo over the other one. Times are changing and using social media to help promote a cause is normal these days. I don't always like how things have changed over the years, but to me this is an acceptable practice. No begging or cheating going on IMHO. :)

HOWEVER, if Rick had submitted a photo of twerking, you better believe I wouldn't vote! Twerking is an example of what I don't like in today's world even if it is an acceptable practice. ;)

the internet makes may people omnipotent.

Isn't there a little blue pill for that? KIDDING!

It's sad how common courtesy has fallen to the wayside. All day long I'm on students teaching them proper behavior because the parents lack the skills and therefore can't teach it to their children.

I guess the word "please" could be interpreted as begging nowadays. When I was young it was referred to as another lost concept called "manners", which was right up there with not judging others. Beggars were unfortunate people that had to ask for things and were usually unable to work. Back then they had to beg because there were no handouts like today.

I have to remember that times have changed, the internet makes many people omnipotent. It is so easy to judge and cast down others, which makes some feel good for some reason.

The word please is going out of fashion,i called in at a fish and chip shop and ask for fish and chips twice, when she brought them they had mushy peas on them after telling her i didn't order peas she thought for a moment and said bet you said fish and chips twice please, ime not used to hearing please in here :D
