Nice figurine, but the hat and bagpipes are hard to distinguish from the background. It may just be my screen though.
Looks perfect on my phone!

I had my grandmother's spinning wheel. When we moved to FL many many moons ago I brought it with me. It was really big and we didn't have any place to display it (she never used it and neither did I). After my brother moved to FL, we passed it along to him. He moved to KY and passed it along to someone else. Tried looking for a photo but it's packed away somewhere. Thanks for the memory.
Looking forward to your spinning wheel pics hint hintI wish I were crafty I have 2 big garbage bags of lovely alpaca fibre downstairs but not sure what I'll do with it. I loved your scarf photo I'm jealous of your talent

Aftershot Pro seems to be working well. I just downloaded it today to play with it. I read about it in the current issue of Linux Format magazine. They have a whole article about photo software for Linux. I run Ubuntu Linux 12.04. I like it and it is very stable. What flavor of Linux are you running? You're very timely. I was just looking for something to process photos with on my linux laptop, since I don't think I'm ever getting my computer back. I'll have to go check that out.
I think we have a plant or two like yours there...
Buster looks very content.
