Photoshop and Camera RAW for D7200

So I'm trying to figure out all the ins and outs of my new D7200. I'm trying to process the photos in Photoshop CS5, and it's not recognizing the RAW version. I've updated to Camera Raw 6.7, which is the latest update I see, but it doesn't say it supports the D7200. I've also downloaded the DNG converter 9.0, but that didn't seem to help. Can anyone fill me in on what I need to do?

I got hold of some raw files and couldn't open them in elements 11,the DNG converter worked on that,would have thought it should work for you,when you convert them are you trying to open the thumbnail as that is still a D7200 file.

Sorry, I realized as soon as I logged off that I probably muddied the waters when I mentioned the DNG Converter. I am trying to load my files directly into Bridge without using the converter. I only mentioned that I installed it because I was hoping that would update the same Camera Raw.

I realize that can use the DNG Converter if I have to, but my goal I to use the Bridge import function to convert to DNG as it brings the files to my computer.

Once Adobe announces a new version of software you tend to be locked into the old one. CS5 has been unable to bring in new cameras directly from Bridge for almost/over 2 years now, so at least you can take solace in the fact that you're in the same boat as D610, D750 and D810 owners. There's no way to do it directly into Bridge, you either need to use the DNG converter (my preferred option) or convert RAW to TIFF with View NX2 (or whatever the Nikon s/w is now).

I've had to update my PS version to be able to import NEF directly from my D7200. If you use the CC updater, it all works quite easily but I am a bit miffed that I had to lose CS5 and move to the monthly payment scheme. However, as someone else put it on another thread, at least PS is now up-to-date and will stay that way. £8.97 a month isn't too bad I suppose :)

From a friend of mine even CS6 with the latest updates does not handle the D7200 yet. There was a strange work-around of editing the EXIF data and calling it something else that would make it work but it was A PITA. He just broke down and went with the CC plan.
