Glad you got a working solution, I dropped Topaz renewing when they went subscription. The original and the first copy of Topaz photo still run fine on my Windows PC and I can use both as plugins. I anticipate if I need to re-install Topaz only the original purchased copy of Topaz photo AI will work, and that seems fair. For noise when I need it the older version seems to be as good or even better than the latter version (acquired before my update window ran out). For sharpening I never got used to or found good settings for sharpening in Topaz. It works but for me I get better results inside my editor. In other notes on noise/sharpening Affinity is making a lot of nice upgrades to Affinity V3. In their develop module on my RAW I reduce nose there this I find improves details greatly. Ive pretty much know where to set one setting based on the ISO value and I move on (you can re-develop later in editing if further adjustments are needed). Then for sharping they have a newish tool called "Multi Band Sharpen" there are four sliders and the effect is amazing (IMO) tuning as needed is very quick and easy. It can be applied as a brush on parts of an image or on the whole. This is defiantly my go to sharpening method. I can't remember the last time I needed to use Topaz to sharpen anything. Its completely free to use (as long as you don't want the AI modules enabled) no cost no subscription. Once I learned a good workflow for me it takes maybe 2/3 min max for regular photos or less using no presets. In the latest update you can save more presets to automate your workflow for a lot of photos.
