PhotoME is very nice. It also provides a plugin for Firefox, to work on online pictures (with Exif). I used it for a few years, and liked it, but now I sure wish it were up to date.

It should work great on the D90 and D300 and such (same era), but cameras have moved on with Exif changes that PhotoME does not know about. It probably does not show the Manufacturers Data section well for the latest models. Lots of good stuff in that section.

Not as convenient as PhotoME, but for the latest cameras, an Exif tool that is maintained updated is ExifTool

This is a command line version, and one is for Windows. However, it is a very major world-class item, and there are many accessory tools developed to work with it, and way down near page bottom, Related Utilities - Windows, is ExifToolGUI.

Both free. Just put them both in the same folder, spawn ExifToolGUI, and it will find and use ExifTool, conveniently, with your mouse. (rename without the (-k), per instructions).

My version of ExifTool is from August, and it knows my D800 format (PhotoME does not), but at that time, it did not do D7100 Manufacturers Data well. I see today there is a new version 5 days ago, it should have changes (unknown to me). Actually, I see there have been six updates since August. They do keep at it, updating it, which we cannot say for PhotoME.

Hope that is of any interest.
