Photography after strokes

Hi All my name is Len and I am an 84 year old retired Professional Photographer. I need some advise please . Just after purchasing the Nikon Z9’I had two strokes, although recovering well my memory is total rubbish without the help of another retired pro I would be incapable of going out on my own to take photographs simply because if I press the wrong button when holding the Z9 I cannot remember how to get back. But this is my problem at moment , I have lost / misplaced my Z9 charger cable so can I use any usb charging plug with the correct cable to use the charger , Regards Len

Sorry to hear of the health issues, it seems you are holding up so that is a positive. I do not use a Z9 so I'm not sure what comes with them. I would think your camera store could help with a replacement cable, or someone may come by here who can help guide you better.

This from the Nikon Z9 manual:

• The camera battery can also be charged with third-party AC adapters. Use an AC adapter that complies with USB PD (power delivery) standards and is equipped with USB Type C connectors.
• Use an AC adapter that supports output of 45 W (20 V/2.25 A) or more.
• Use a USB cable that is Type C on both ends to connect to the camera.
• We do not guarantee that all third-party AC adapters and USB cables are able to charge the camera battery.

Welcome to the club... I haven't had any stroke yet, but my memory it is already crap on a good day.. It seems to me that you are not retired at all if you are still enjoying yourself with a Z9... I hope you get another 20 years of professional photography... As far as I know, any good quality USB C cable will do the trick...

guess.. I have a problem with all my body... I shake a lot, I can't take pic and use any device, even drive my car.... BUT ONE DAY. WE WILL RISE AGAIN!! (since last 2 years)
But is ok.
pls do NOT feel sorry for me ( I mean everyones)
