[QUOTE="BarefootPilgrim, post: 333841, member: 18008"] Finally getting around to my first image post on the forum. Here are a few pix of my pups shot with the D200 this week. Pepper, an 18-month old black-tri Australian Shepherd, joined our family in January 2013. Waggles is an unknown mix we found abandoned at a home construction site a few blocks from our previous home in July 2000. Needless to say, I have a zillion photos of both these guys, but not many with a Nikon until this past month. Finally getting the hang of the D200. I got it specifically to shoot action (dog frisbee, agility and dock diving) and wish I'd spent the extra cash for a D300 and it's lower high ISO noise. The D200 does the job for now though, if I'm careful. Next I think I need to replace my Nikkor AF-D 70-300 with the new version. I'm reasonably happy with image quality, but AF could be faster. I'm finding that CAF is just slightly slow enough so pups running towards me are a smidgin in front of the focus point when the shutter fires. Except for the first shot, these are all slightly cropped with some minor tone curve adjustments and detail correction in LR, then scaled to a 1024px long edge for the web. C&C is always welcome.
