I would like to have made this mornings shot a nice pan since the whole sky was color but for some reason I was a little lazy. Guess the fact that I was still in slippers and robe,out in the snow and it was 10 above 0 had something to do with it.

i am not sure i like the new look. Rancher and cowboy hat is like western stories and louis l'amour. I might have been ok with a nice fuzzy wuzzy ear flapped winter cap, but a baseball cap. Well enjoy, change is hard for this old guy.

Ron, I just put that pic up on a lark. Not to get too redneck but the letters on the cap(NWTF) National Wild Turkey Federation. One of my best friends is the president. Normally this time of year I have a scotch cap on to stay warm. I have a different shot to post.

Marilynne, Thank you. From can see to can't see ,it was a pretty nice December day in Coloraado. Not a cloud to be found in the clear blue sky and no wind made it seem a lot warmer than it should be. No pictures taken except in my mind's eye.

Five years and five cameras ago... Looking for something else and came across this and since I had nothing better to share today, here you go.
Not taken with a Nikon but not too bad, all things considered. I gave the camera to a niece that wanted to learn with something better than her little compact p&s.

Caught! The fence around this bunny is designed to keep the rabbits out in the summer when the flowers are there. He made several frantic trips around the inside before he finally jumped and finally made a run for it.

A quick road trip this morning over the hill (the ski areas) where there is a bit more snow. Only 15 degrees so I didn't wander around.
