Opinion on images

I would like to solicit the boards opinion on which of these 4 images you think is "best" and by that I mean which would you choose to submit to a landscape photography contest? #'s 2 and 3 are different exposures taken within a minute of each other so the differences are subtle

I would go number 4 with similar editing of number 2. If possible.

For me it's close between 2 and 4 but assuming those are the final edits, I'd have to pick #2.

Sky on 4, foreground on 2. Maybe ratchet up the luminence on the greens in the last one a notch to get it closer to #2? As is, #4.

#4 with #2 a close second. #1 would be nice but it is a little to Grey. Just does not pop like the others.

One and four. One because of the paraglider adds a sense of immensity and four over 2 & 3 because the sun rays I prefer in four.

Your pictures are just too good, I wish I could tell you which one would win...

I agree with Marcel and choose #1 & #4

#1 has more crisp details even though the subject matter isn't all that interesting.
#4 has more interesting subject matter and not the softness of #2 & #3.

#1 for me. With the pole at the lower left cropped out.

I look at the other pictures as an outsider, but I get drawn right into the paraglider pic.

I do like #1, but to me it's not so much about a landscape as it is about a paraglider.

I like #1 without the pole and #4. I agree with Jake about #1, but that could also be what makes it more than "just another landscape". It would help to know who the judges are. Are they landscape purists? or folks that would appreciate the glider as adding a "human" element, knowing that would help narrow down the submission.

They are all outstanding but I personally like the last one best. An outstanding use of wide angle in scenics!

In the words of Emeril Lagasse, "BAM!!" That's exactly what I was talking about. It adds richness and a bit more texture to the foreground - at least to my eyes - that I liked in #2, while preserving the incredible sunset. Great work.
