Only getting a burst of 3 frames on CH

I'm only getting a burst of three frames before buffering with D850 set on CH. I'm using a San Disk Extreme Pro CF Express card 128gb (1700ms/1200ms) on RAW. This has happened just in the past few weeks. I was getting longer bursts previously with the same card and RAW. Did I accidently change a setting that I'm not aware of? Thank you for your help.

Sound like CL and set to 3. If it stops after 3 frames check that d2 is set "Max continuous release" is set something like 100.

I do not know of any documentation to support my idea, but did you recently get a new aftermarket battery? Not that the battery would be unable to supply the demanded power, but the chip on the battery might be causing the camera to think it cannot keep up.

Do you have pictures going to an SD card as well? If you have both cards recording the camera will only write at the speed of the lowest card. But it should be more than 3 shots before the buffer fills. If you are shooting uncompressed RAW you should get about 20 frames till buffer fills. Then it deppends on speed of your cards.

You don't happen to have bracketing set to 3 frames on do you? Even on Ch it will take 3 shots and stop.
