Older Nikkor lenses for the D7100

I like to shoot primes wide open very often, and with 35mm f1.8 G it is possible, but with 50mm f1.8 D it is not because it is very soft wide open, so I would suggest to add more money and buy G version of the lens, it is much sharper wide open.
Of course, D lens does not have distortion at all, while G version has. It can be important for some video work.

Yup I really like the older lenses. The 7100 takes so many. Also in the manual there's a list of compatible lenses, p.298 I think

So soon (next week) a 135mm E ai f/2.8 will join the stable. So here's the (to me) the really nice part, cost--$50 usd! For an enthusiast , non-pro like me, that's a plus. This was another reason I got a 7100, that ability to use these great vintage lenses. Have a great weekend all!
