They swear there are no video tricks here. This makes my head hurt trying to figure out how this works. This stairwell is apparently at RIT in Rochester, NY.

Multiple tricks are used to convince you that it is real. In person, they might use twins dressed alike, and in a video, they use editing, or both. Since many or us have seen Penrose illustrations, we convince ourselves that it has to be true.

Save your aspirin, and just have a chuckle over this.;)

They purport that the landing on the second flight of the stairs is actually angled back down. That does make sense. They show it in the black & white drawing of the stairs, right after the two videos about the stairs.

Once I have seen the drawing, now it makes sense.
