Nikon School?

The truth is that Nikon school is as good and as bad as all the others out there willing to take your money to "teach" you photography. Personally, I do not feel this is money well spent. We live in the age of information and between all that's out there on the net along with the excellent quality of books on the subject as well as the numerous photo clubs and sites like this one, paying for it just doesn't make any sense, IMO.

Ive been to a couple of Nikon's in-house camera specific training sessions here in the UK, at their Kingston headquarters. These have been really good and instructive and I'd definitely recommend them if you've bought a new DSLR and want a good introduction.

I've been on some photographic courses that frankly, have been a waste of money.
Get out there, take lots of shots, play with the settings, and you'll learn more than anybody could teach you. Once you've done all that, then the tips from the pro 's will make sense. INHO :)
