NIkon D850: Best Wildlife Camera EVER?

Thanks, but I meant the D750 (24MP). That's what I use when I'm not reach-limited. For those who need a single, all-around camera (and want to spend that kind of coin), the 850 is a good choice. I really don't need a do-it-all camera, though. For low-light, higher ISO situations, I still prefer the performance of the D750. I don't need 45MP. It's nice that Nikon gave us options, though.

This would be my argument why the d850 edges the d500 for wildlife...

1. In dx mode the d850 is essentially a d500 with 1 big advantage, the viewfinder. Even know the camera is shooting the dx crop you get the benefit of seeing much more around your subject. I realize it gives up 1 fps (with grip) and maybe the buffer is not quite as deep but being able to see more in the viewfinder is a huge advantage.

2. If your lucky enough to get very close to your subject, you can shoot it in full frame...try that with a d500.

3. It allows you to shoot wider with the same lens. This could be a real asset when shooting a flock or herd.

Just my thoughts as a d500 owner and future owner of a d850!
