Re: nikond750 firmware update

Run the update .exe which will extract the update file to a folder. Open that folder and copy the file inside of it to your memory cards base directory, insert in primary card slot on your camera, go to firmware menu, click update button at the bottom.

What firmware update you all speak of? I checked and it looks like I have the latest. Or do I?

Re: nikond750 firmware update

I'll have to check tomorrow what mine is... If you go to the website though it well tell you what the current firmware is, you can match that up with your numbers.

Re: nikond750 firmware update

As far as I know there is only one method.

Download the firmware, run and extract the .exe file to you desktop.

Copy the extracted .bin file (not the .exe or any folder including the .bin) to your card.

Insert card in cam.

Go to firmware menu and it will mention "new firmware"

Follow procedure

Done.

Is that system called Mike? ;)

It's really simple but you have to make sure the battery has enough power else it doesn't do the update. The worst thing that can happen is the camera shutting down during the update.

Re: nikond750 firmware update

There was a pdf on how to update the firmware on the page with the firmware update, At least for the D3200.
So with the update on the root directory of the SD card you go to your firmware screen and there should be a option/button to update.

It was supprisingly easy to do it!, But took a few minutes to complete.

Another Question
After i updated the firmware and checked to see if it was there it said yes.
But when i click on done nothing happens. It still says update or done.
So why doesn't the update and done go away?
Thanks

I think the update remains an option as long as the cam detects a .bin file on the card. If you remove the card (or format it) and check the firmware, does it show the latest?

If yes, all is fine.
