I was reading about this the other day. Some of the images are stellar, but i suppose its about the telescope you hook it up to

The camera was still in a glass display case during the CP+ Yokohama exhibit. This is more of a specialize camera similar to IR cameras

Looked like around 4k price wise.....way outside my range....but like Jaydean said it's also about the scope that you hook onto...alot of astrophotography are stacked and processed heavily...but the camera body/Frame being full frame (35mm)will be a great improvement in the Snr-signal noise ratio (image noise)

I'm sure the low light sensitivity will be tweaked as well since it's made for ap work

I have been watching this closely and at first thought didn't think I would bite, but after more reading I have the feeling it will be able to be used in normal shooting conditions aswell as astrophotography. And the 15min long exposure is quite nice. I wonder if this is my next upgrade
