Tried my 55-300 to do a close up

I think I start to love my 55-300. Now long time I couldn't see lots of interesting Birds in Fly therefore I shot other things.
I know that I need a lot of practice and I will do it.

Michael, I have the same lens and it can do alot!! I am sure you will find lots of things it can do!

Today around 08.00 a.m I was just walking around with the D5100 and the 55-300. I am going to post my photos in different threads I think it is suitable.

Wish I had joined this forum before I bought my 55-200. I can see where the extra 100mm could easily come to use. Nice shots!

Well, I must say I am AMAZED with the quality of this (very affordable!) lens! I asked for EXIFs only to be sure which photos had been taken at 300mm (since, I expect that is the "softest spot" of this lens). It works GREAT!

Just to be 100% sure - is it this one: http://goo.gl/es4W0 ?
