Nikon 35mm 1.8g vs nikon 50mm 1.8g

I have the 35mm f1.8G & the 50mm f1.8D. I like both lenses, but if I could have only one it would be 35. It is like having the nifty 50 in the DX world. For many years I used the 50mm length on my Nikon film cameras. If you want more reach the 50mm f1.8 will give you that.

Features of the lens? And which one is better and useful?
Features? Well they're both fast, sharp-shooting primes... That's about the size of it.

As for which is "better and useful", that's a question with no definitive answer. A difference of 15mm is simply not enough to debate. And while many people *prefer* one over the other, that's just a matter of opinion. There is no way to quantify which one is more useful. I suggest you get them both.

Ok Cristian, so far we've been good to you and tried to help you. But now, you post the same question again and again.
I will answer your question again but for the last time.

If you don't know which one is more useful to you, it's because you don't need it. Which one is better? The one you will buy. Why don't you buy both? That's what I did, and I use both and they are both excellent but for some situations, one is better than the other, and I won't tell you which one it is for what situation.

What is the limit on asking questions? Does this question count toward that count? :adoration:

Flip a coin OP & live with the call. 35 f1.8 for me. :wink-new:

...or just pick ANY of them, blindfolded. Buy one of them, any, and you wont regret it.

There is no limit as how many questions one person can ask, but on how many times the same person can ask the same question in different forums and threads.

Don't know if the 35 1.8G (FX) is honestly worth it, but DX one is about right/only way to get that field of view w/ AF on a lower-grade DX.
