Nikon 24-70 2.8@ 35mm

I'm debating between this lens and 2 others, one being the new Sigma 35mm 1.4. Yes they are completely different lenses. What I'm wondering is if any members here could post some shots from their Nikon 24-70, at 2.8 close focused to a subject so I could see what the out of focus elements would look like.

Thanks for your help!

Here's a close up of some flowers I took with my 24-70mm.

And as I think you already know, I absolutely love my 24-70mm. It's a touch heavier than I wish it were but hey, so am I. :D

Rick - Forget about the comparison.

Based on the current used market on the two forums that I visit, there are currently two Nikon 24-70mm f2.8 that are listed for sale. $1490.USD paypal/shipped. Box and everything (mint condition).

The other is listed for $1,550. similar condition.

I bought mine used for $1,500. 4 years ago, so the value of the lens pretty much stayed the same over the years. Can't go wrong with this lens.

Let me know if you are interested so that I can point you in the right direction.;)

Here are some bokeh comparisons that I did back in December 2010 between the Nikon 16-35mm f4VRII, Nikon 24-70mm f2.8, and Nikon 24-120mm f4 VRII. Camera used: My ex-D700 @ ISO 200.
