Nikon 17-55mm f2.8 tips

I just picked up this lenses for my D5200. Anyone care to share any pointers/experiences?

Hi and welcome...F2.8 makes it a very good lens...

The only down thing about it is a DX lens, If planning to go full frame...

It will sing on your D5200

It will be several years before I upgrade to FX camera. I took a great cactus flower picture that I have to post. I am loving it so far experimenting

I had the 17-55 for about 3 years and liked it alot on my D7000. I bought it refurbed for $1050 and sold it recently for $800. IMO, $250 for 3 years use is a bargain. Hope you enjoy it.

I also had this lens; my only real complaint would be the tendency for flare if there are any light sources within the frame.
