Question I have is on the Lens barrel, there are three switches I know what the VR is for but the M/A M and Normal Active switch is for and when to use them?

M/A M is for Autofocus. M/A is for manual/auto focus (will AF, but you can also change it), M is for manual focus only.

Normal / Active is for the VR... Normal for 'normal' VR, Active is for when you are moving as in a car.
