Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 Problem Resoultion - Attn. Pre-Google users

Got an email at 8AM from Google with a resolution to the issue I was having with Nik HDR Efex Pro 2. They stated 1-2 business days to get back to me, so I was rather thrilled to get something so quickly (I was going to call after 9).

It seems that the software download link they sent out to all current Nik users when they relaunched the Nik Collection at $149 was more than a thank you gesture but purposeful in that it contained a new version of the software that auto-updates and no longer requires license keys for each product. The email states nothing about your having to install this version, so I passed on what I thought was a nice "thank you gift" of a second collection to my brother, who has been using it since. They passed me a link to download and reinstall the software and everything now seems to be working fine.

So kudos to Google/Nik for the prompt response, and heads up to everyone else out there who may not have installed the Google version of the software.
