Would love to see some EXIF data. Looks like these were handheld at high ISO due to the noise and crispness of the water. While high ISO is good for night skies, it's not for nightscapes. So get the ISO down to native and use a tripod. Once you do that you can do a lot more to make the images pop without introducing noise everywhere.

I'll sort the EXIF data when I get home. unfortunately the option to use a tripod to reduce the ISO was not available. it was a packed booze cruise, with 124 very drunk revellers on board!! You can just imagine......
