Awesome shots, Nidding :) :)

For some reason, I cannot see your exif date, could you link me to some shots done with your Vivitar 135mm? I haven't heard of that lens before, pretty curious now.

Thank you so much :)

I don't know why EXIF data is missing from some shots. I link the images from flickr, but some of them seem to have EXIF viewable.

I don't actually use th Vivitar that often. After I got my 35 it's the lens on my camera per default ;)
The vivitar is an old lens, I can't figure out from the serial number if it's from '74 or '84, but manual focus none the less. I actually think it's a quite decent lens, especially for the price of 2-300 kr I paid for it. It has a little 'noisy' bokeh and maybe is a little bit soft, but for my use, it's quite all right.
If the rain stops before it gets dark, I'll take it out and take a few test shots with it :)

Day 92
Here you go, @wud, some shots with the Vivitar. They turned out not to be all that versatile, but I guess plant buds were what popped into my eye today ;)
This first one shows what I mean by noisy bokeh, as the branch in the bottom right has some weird shadow thing going on.

I guess my conclusion is that unless I want to use it for something specific, I usually carry my 35 and my 55-200 kit lens with me, which usually covers my needs. For low light tele shots the vivitar has come in handy once in a while though :)

I googled it, looks like it makes a beautiful bokeh? Sounds awesome if it's so old! If it makes noise blur, it could maybe be perfect for b/w images?

Ah you were fast! Thanks :) It looks very good, I'll just have to see it on a screen later.

It looks pretty darn good, from my point of view. As for the greyish areas in right corner, I just think its because you used a very high aperture - so its blur. You cannot see any grey in that corner in last image.

I tend to agree with you ;)
The bokeh thing I mentioned is maybe a little more articulated in this picture

It's like the trees in the background are shaking or something like that.
To be honest, I don't really know if this is something one should expect from most lenses, but I have only come across it on this specific lens.
On picture three for today, I have nothing to complain about however. I'd guess that is about as smooth as it gets :)

I don't think I have tried any B/W with this one. I should probably try it out :)

I have to say, after looking at your earliest shots and your latest, you are definitely improving. Nice work!
Thank you.
That is all I want to achieve with my 365 - to get better and have a good time - so I'm very pleased that you think it's moving in that way :)

Yep. A row of houses. We call them 'rækkehuse' which directly translates to row houses. They are typically sized like an apartment but has a little strip of garden.

Day 96
We went to a local market today, and I had time for a few pictures

Also I took my first street portraits. They were not too good, but I figure I'll show you anyway as I have been talking about trying this out earlier this year :)

Hopefully I'll be able to practice this a bit more later on :)

Be careful... street portraiture is addicting. It's a lot of fun, and occasionally challenging. That 35mm is a great lens for that. Really makes you get into the action. That's the lens I use, pop it in aperture priority, and fire away.

Great work!
