I think the point is that it's an camera that runs android & has a cellular data antenna. We could see android on future DSLR's...

yeah, Nikon is has a coolpix that does that too, I am not that interested in instantly sharing my photos, not my cup of tea,

I understand that 99.999% of all pictures is the HEY...LOOK AT ME !!!!! share share share.

and for that these cameras are great.

I wouldn't mind GPS for geo tagging the photos I take. but as far as being connected to the net, naw.

In the age of social networking and the readily available accessibility to share one's life with the masses, it was only a matter of time before this came about in this form.

We've had phone cameras for a long time now, and the evolution of smartphones with their small cameras with big MPs is ever increasing, but maybe there's a new direction/market share coming our way too... people who want a camera with the option for occasional phone calls?!!!

Whoa I think I will have another cup of coffee...maybe a beer instead.

I can see my mom and others deluging me with pictures even more so then they do already.
