Nice dragon! What are the environmental conditions? Daily light or near sunset? Why did you set iso=125? How close were you to capturing it (FL=200mm)? It must be a rare occasion to capture the scene. Lucky you.
You've never been to south Florida. Iguanas are all over, day and night!

Nice dragon!
Thanks. Time was about 11AM the location was a shaded area with just that shaft of light coming through. Quite close less than 6ft with 70-200. The 70-200 was my personal challenge to use it to shoot the images for the weekly at the park. Why not 125 wasn't moving and a relatively slow shutter speed? The artistic choice :) was to let the sunlight highlight the lizard and kill the background. Too bad the head wasn't an inch further in to the light as the head goes in to the background a bit.
They are an invasive nuisance! Come take all you want.

So, you can always move in close to and shoot
Sometimes as with any wild thing they have their limits.

Pulled down four power poles. Heard a cost for restoration at 2 million dollars.

how many poles the city with 2m of $ can put?
for sure not 4...
corruption at them finest!!!!
I'm not sure that is that much considering the number of workers, and that crane and operator rental. There are still workers in the neighborhood and probably will be for several more days.

I didn't know you had Wawa's in FL. A few weeks ago we drove to NJ from SC and stopped at an NJ Wawa for gas. I was surprised that you still can't pump your own gas in NJ. The pump guy was super nice and we had a fun conversation; I lived in NJ 40+ years ago.
