No votes or advice/opinions here... just insane jealousy. My vacations are usually centered around Florida (where we can stay with Dad to minimalize the cost, and still requires months of saving) or "How many miles can I ride the bike with the piddly amount of free money I have available for gas?" None have EVER been 3 weeks long!

Wherever ya go, enjoy your 40th, and take enough pictures so the rest of us can live vicariously through the images! Oz

Oh dont worry I will take plenty of pictures. Unlike some recently ;)

I'd go to Nepal and India, not for tigers but for people and landscapes.

Yeah that too ;)

On a serious note, if you haven't been to Scotland, you should visit one day. Photo opportunities are amazing! But, perhaps, December is not the best time.

On the other hand, you might be lucky with the weather. Prices are lower in winter (except around Christmas and New Year) and crowds are away. Oh, did I mention there are no midges?

You might want to consider Cooterneck, Arkansas.

I'd go there just to get the t-shirt!

They are in the Cooterneck Mall, a 10 X 25 section of a 75 foot building housing the Post Office and the gas station.

At least it was like that back in '88. ;)
