My Yongnuos Failed Me In The Worst Possible Way

Just to put a period on this adventure, I had an opportunity this afternoon to hook everything up and, wouldn't you know it, things worked (the batteries in one flash were dead, but the other worked fine, where I had nothing in FL). I used the Vello cable in my bag this time and have sent an email to Yongnuo to see what I need to do to get the cable replaced (too much of a PITA to got thru Amazon since they'll likely want me to pack up the whole thing and return it).

I'll just add a short footnote after the last period to this adventure.

As you know, my experience with Yongnuo has not been all that pleasant. If you have to send it back, You must bear the cost of shipping both ways. (It would have been $83.00 x 2 for my flash). I explained it to Amazon, and they understood. My account was credited for the amount of the flash ($96.00) and they didn't want me to send it back to them. So it doesn't cost anything to ask. They may surprise you.
