Thanks Marcel. One of the reasons I have been experimenting and changing my photos into paintings and drawings is because, the local arts council wants some of my work. I just don't want to give them a photo. Here are some wild flowers I did in brush strokes. 001-1 (800x533).jpg004 (800x533) (2).jpg

Yes he does!. This play was funny. It was about an opera singer coming to America to sing and he was sick from the trip and they thought he died. So, the guy in this picture dressed up like him and took his place. Only to find out the real singer was alive. They are both dressed up the same and the antics begin. What I was surprised about was the language and sexual gestures we heard and saw. I would have expected someone to complain in this day and age. I wouldn't. I thought it was a great play.

This guy resembles Matthew Broderick.

Yes that is the one, the subject is an interesting rabbit for me, but the picture does not seem to do it justice. Thinking about the general rules, made me think that is because the subject is centred. It might just be me though.

Well, my new postcards are in. The chamber info center picked it out and I dressed it up. Ordered 1,000 and have 500 left. A lot of people are buying them for Christmas cards. I don't make a lot. Just enough to get my money back and to get my name out for larger print order.postcard clock tower (533x800).jpg

Is the 2nd picture better?

Look better would be only for me, so it does not really mean something.
I just had the feeling the picture would be better served with the rule of 3, see below I divided the picture in 9 squares and made certain the subject is near the crossing (golden points) of lines.

Rule of 3.jpg

It is a rule that can certainly be broken, but sometimes it really helps to make the picture more pleasant to the eye.
