My Passport Ultra

I have just installed WD My Passport Ultra. How do I know that it has saved all my files specifically my photos? Not the greatest with computers so please be gentle

Well you could check the properties of the two folders (meaning the "original" folder and your "backup" folder) and see how many files/sub-folders each contain... The numbers for each should match.
