Whilst in the UK on holiday to visit my sister last month I took this picture of my neice. I have run it through lightroom to add a bit of sharpness, add a little saturation and also blur out the background a bit more... I was planning on having this printed in large format and sending it over to my sister for her Birthday next month.

Absolutely adorable! Lighting and post-processing are excellent. My only suggestion is to crop in more closely . . . the "door" over her head is distracting and the empty spaces on the left and right add nothing to the photo.

​It will make a lovely gift! Well done.

You may want to play around with some of the Nik color efex filters, specifically the "classical soft" . . . a little touch can soften the baby's ruddy cheeks and give the whole photo a "lighter feel" with a slight glow. Brides and babies should have a glowing "softness".
