Thanks for sharing, that video explains stacking very clearly, it actually is a rather simple process in theory, probably trickier in practice!

My 1st attempt... i didn't take enough shots. (only 8) I also didn't bother with any tweaking in PS which it clearly needs. Fun testing this out though.

UK 10 pence coin, 8 stacked layers.

Seems like we're all giving it a go. My first attempt at Focus Stacking. Using Australian $2 & $1 coins. I used the 18-200 Nikkor lens but I think I'd try a different lens next time. I had trouble knowing just how much to shift focus. Cheers, Brad
