yea quite the douches. not cool. I think it wasnt profitable for them as they knew they would have to invest a lot of time in it.

Thank you Scott. Once I get my D800E, I am thinking of trading my D3s for a Nikon 200mm f2 or 300mm f2.8VR. It still has less than 5k shutter actuations.

I would keep the D3S...Sell your D7000 instead...

About 1 month with Nikon USA and they just pretty much, flat-out said that it is beyond economical repair and rejected the camera for repair due to cracked casing.



APS was held hostage due to Nikon did not provide them a special calibration tool that it required to ensure the focus is properly calibrated. In their defense, their technician still took their time to disassemble and repair the camera. $840 for a D800E is worth waiting for in my opinion instead of buying another one.
