No one has ever accused me of being overly subtle either. LOL

I actually think the "over the top" look works for the mountains and sky, but you lose almost all your definition on the foreground vegetation. What are you using for your HDR processing? With Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 it would be easy to pull back the foreground using control points.

I use photomatix . . . but also have the Nik. I haven't used it because I haven't taken the time to figure out how to go from LR to HDR nik (shame on me). Thanks, Jakes, for reminding me about the control points.
