One of my favorite cameras is my Nikkormat FT3. The shutter ring around the lens mount is really a lot more convenient than one placed on the top right deck. The finder is a little on the dim side and the meter needle is not the fastest to react because it is a CdS cell, but it this camera is built like a tank. The film advance is smoother than my F2's, it is absolutely as smooth as silk. Everything about this camera, which was considered an "entry level" Nikon exudes precision.
