more luck than management but what do you think?

Had a day out with the camera the other day and i particularly like how these turned out I've only used nx2 to convert to b/w and fine tune, its my real first walk and shoot with the new 5300






Any thoughts good or bad?

That's more like it, yes... If possible I'd have shot it like you see below. Obviously all I've done here is a horizontal flip to move the subject into the lower right hand quadrant to illustrate my point. Also, a little more "breathing room" on the top and bottom edges wouldn't have hurt as far as I can tell. The shot feels just a little "cramped" to me being this tightly cropped.

Just my two-cents, of course. .

I can accept that unfortunately the background wasn't that appealing so the shot was a close up anyway
