Finally this gi-huge-ic heirloom tomato is turning red. It's the biggest tomato I think I've ever grown. I put a 25 cent quarter on it to give a little perspective. Man, I can't wait to get this baby in a BLT!!

reminds me of the tomatoes this Amish family sells at the farmers market I go to. They're awesome :)

btw, you should pick them right when they start to turn red, this way the plant doesn't think its job is done producing fruit.
