Don't feel bad for this kid. He's a 'ringer'. He speaks better English than I do. At the temples/schools they pick out the skinniest little monk-let, daub a little dirt on him, and send him out to hit the tourists up for big cash donations. It is all very carefully choreographed. Somebody is getting rich but it is not the monk-lets. Notice the very, very expensive pen in his robe .... gotta have it ready so you can sign the "donation" book! When I saw the pen I knew the game was afoot ...
